Frost & Flame: The Girl Scout Winter Games is an action-packed outdoor adventure held at Deer Run Park, inviting Girl Scouts from Brownies to Seniors to embrace the spirit of the Winter Olympics-no snow required! This half- to full-day event blends physical challenges, creative exploration, and teamwork in a series of themed activities like a torch relay obstacle course, biathlon-style target toss, winter animal movement course, team "ski" races, mini survival shelter building, and seasonal crafts. Scouts begin the day with an Olympic-style Opening Ceremony and end with a joyful medal celebration. Each age group works toward a badge that connects to the event's goals: Brownies earn "Fair Play," Juniors earn "Practice with Purpose," Cadettes complete "Field Day," and Seniors earn "Game Visionary." With hot cocoa, reflection time, and plenty of laughter in between, Frost & Flame is a celebration of leadership, sportsmanship, and winter fun in the great outdoors.
