Get ready to explore the infinite mystery of 3.14 at our official Pi Day Celebration!

Pi Day is a worldwide tribute to the most famous never-ending number-3.14159... This mathematical constant appears throughout nature, and since it begins with 3.14, we celebrate it each year on March 14 (3/14)!

Grab a spoon and dig into all the wonder of pie-oops, we mean pi! At this event, you'll do more than crunch numbers. Girl Scouts will uncover the secrets of geometry, explore how math shows up in the natural world, and enjoy hands-on STEM activities along the way.

This event is open to Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. While participating, Girl Scouts will receive a special commemorative Pi Day patch, activities will support the Math in Nature badges for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. (Note: Girl Scouts will not complete these badges at this event.)

Notes:

  • Since this is an in-person event there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults must be registered in advance.
  • Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints, girls registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult.

Location: The Forsythe Community Center Hosted by Girl Scouts - Terre Haute, IN
