Make your community a better place

It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.

Submit your Bronze Award final project report here.

We do not require pre-approval for Bronze Awards at this time. We believe that our Troop Leaders can determine if their Troop's project meets the requirements without an additional barrier to go through.

You can become a Bronze Award Girl Scout if you:

Are in fourth or fifth grade
Are a registered Girl Scout Junior
Have completed one of the following prerequisites: Junior Leadership Award or Junior Journey

How to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award

Step 1: Complete the Bring on the Bronze Training in gsLearn
Step 2: Build your team
Step 3: Explore the community and brainstorm project ideas
Step 4: Decide on a project and make a plan of action

Step 5: Put your plan in motion
Step 6: Spread the word and Submit your final report (one report per project with all participating Girl Scout listed)

Important Dates:

Bronze Awards must be submitted by September 30, after they have completed 5th grade to be eligible.
All Awards must be turned in no later than March 31 to be included in that year's United We Lead Celebration.
- If it is turned in on April 1 or after, you will be included in the next year's celebration.
