Get ready to get your hands dirty and step into the shoes of a biologist during A Worm's Life! In this hands-on program, you will investigate live worms up close to discover how these subterranean superheroes navigate without eyes, use their slimy coatings to survive, and turn everyday kitchen scraps into rich, healthy soil.

 

Grab your magnifying glass and get ready to wiggle! Dress in clothes that can get a little dusty, bring your curiosity, and prepare to see these backyard creatures in a whole new light. Every Girl Scout will receive an official Worm's Life fun patch!

 

Notes: 

  • Since this is an in-person event, there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults, must be registered in advance. 
  • For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring that enough adults are present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event is open to registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining to discover what Girl Scouting has to offer.
  • We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs (non-Girl Scout siblings and non-participating guests) at this event.
