🎣🌿 StreamGirls Fly Fishing Adventure 💧🐟
Join us for a hands-on outdoor experience where girls will explore the exciting world of fly fishing while discovering the importance of healthy streams and aquatic habitats! Girls will take part in a guided stream walk to closely observe wildlife, plants, and the ecosystem surrounding the water. They'll also participate in macro-invertebrate sampling to discover the tiny creatures living in the stream and learn how these species help measure water quality and stream health.
Participants will learn the basics of fly tying and use their creativity to design their own fly, then practice essential fly casting techniques before heading out to fish and put their new skills into action! Along the way, girls will build outdoor confidence, teamwork, observation skills, and a deeper appreciation for conservation and nature stewardship. 🎣🦋🌊
Girls (Juniors and up)- $30, Includes handbook, patch, bracelet, and custom fly

Additional Information
- Those registering individually should be accompanied by a registered adult. Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoint ratio. GSCI Safety Checkpoints
- Leaders and adults attending are responsible for the supervision of their girls at all times. The facilitator(s) might need your help; please be engaged in the event.
- Please do not bring adults, siblings, or other Girl Scouts who are not registered.
