🌍 Girl Scout Geocaching Adventure Program

Join us for an exciting outdoor adventure where technology meets exploration! In this Girl Scout geocaching program, participants will learn how to use GPS coordinates to search for hidden "treasures," known as geocaches, placed throughout a designated outdoor area. Working in small teams, Girl Scouts will follow clues, solve problems, and navigate trails as they uncover each cache along the way.

This program encourages girls to build confidence, cooperation, and leadership skills while enjoying the natural world. Along the journey, Scouts will practice map reading, basic orienteering, and critical thinking, all while engaging in hands-on learning that feels like a realworld scavenger hunt. Each geocache may include small trinkets, fun facts, or challenges that spark curiosity and teamwork.

Geocaching is a fantastic way to combine physical activity, STEM concepts, and outdoor fun. Girls of all experience levels are welcome-no prior geocaching knowledge is required. Adult volunteers will guide participants through safety guidelines, Leave No Trace principles, and proper geocaching etiquette to ensure a positive and respectful experience for everyone.

By the end of the program, Girl Scouts will have explored new surroundings, strengthened friendships, and gained a sense of accomplishment from completing a shared mission. Whether earning a badge, trying something new, or simply enjoying time outside, this geocaching adventure promises discovery, laughter, and memories that will last long after the final cache is found.
