MegASCope: The Kingdom of Dellwood Celebrates its 100th Gathering!

Step into a world of magic, adventure, artistry, and medieval merriment at the Dellwood Renaissance Faire & MegaScope Experience! Designed exclusively for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts, this immersive program transforms Camp Dellwood into a living Renaissance village filled with hands-on experiences, artisan guilds, outdoor adventure, fantasy storytelling, and advanced maker activities.
Throughout the day, Girl Scouts will journey through themed lands featuring royal courts, enchanted forests, artisan workshops, archery fields, wandering performers, and interactive quests created especially for older girls. You will take part in immersive guild-style experiences inspired by medieval craftsmanship, fantasy lore, and the innovative spirit of the MegASCope program!
Participants will explore advanced creative and hands-on skills through activities such as:
* Mixed media art
* Woodworking & walking stick carving
* Leatherworking
* Resin & mosaic art
* Culinary design
* Kinetic and interactive art
* Archery and medieval-inspired outdoor skills
* Herbalism & potion-inspired creations
* Fantasy prop and accessory making
* Interactive storytelling and roleplay challenges
* Juggling and Renaissance performance arts
Girls will even have the opportunity to learn the art of juggling, practicing coordination, concentration, creativity, and showmanship while experiencing the lively entertainment traditions of Renaissance festivals and medieval marketplaces.
You will also take part in a themed letterboxing adventure throughout camp, following clues, solving riddles, and discovering hidden boxes tied to the lore and kingdoms of the Faire. Girl Scouts may complete quests, collect stamps, uncover secrets of the realm, and earn honors and titles while exploring the woodland village.
As evening falls, participants will gather for a magical Madrigal Dinner, featuring medieval-inspired dining, music, entertainment, character interactions, storytelling, and festive Renaissance traditions. The dinner experience will celebrate fellowship, creativity, and the spirit of the kingdom whilst enjoying an immersive evening filled with laughter, performances, and candlelit fantasy atmosphere.
Throughout the experience, Girl Scouts will strengthen leadership, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills while exploring connections to entrepreneurship, engineering, outdoor adventure, historical arts, and imaginative design.
Whether arriving as knights, artisans, forest guardians, scholars, pirates, nobles, or mystical adventurers, every participant becomes part of the story as Camp Dellwood celebrates creativity, courage, craftsmanship, and community.

Costumes are strongly encouraged to enhance the immersive experience. This program is designed specifically for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops seeking an exciting blend of fantasy, outdoor adventure, artistic exploration, leadership, and advanced maker experiences through the MegaScope program.
Girl Cost= $35, includes Dellwood's 100th year patch, 2026 MegASCope patch, badges, and a Madrigal dinner. Overnight Options available for an additional $10 per person
Adult Cost=$15, includes Dellwood's 100th year patch, and the Madrigal Dinner. Overnight accommendations are available for an additional $10 per person.
