NBA Math Hoops is an innovative program that transforms math into a fast-paced, hands-on experience.

 

During this event, participants will:
  Compete in a basketball-inspired game using real NBA & WNBA player stats
  Strengthen math skills like percentages, problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  Build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship
 

Perfect for students in grades 4-8, NBA Math Hoops helps make math engaging, relevant, and exciting by connecting learning to the game they love.

 

💡 Whether you're a basketball fan, a budding mathematician, or both-this is your chance to learn, compete, and have fun like never before!

 

Notes: 

  • Get ready for some family fun! Siblings and non-Girl Scout buddies are invited to join in the excitement of this family-friendly event. To help us plan accordingly, please register all attending individuals (youth and adults) in advance.

    • Please use Family Guests to register additional youth participants.

  • For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring they have enough adults present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
