Johnson County Independence Park: Fairy Frolic!
August 2nd 2026 12pm-2pm
Spend a super special Sunday in the park with the Girl Scouts Fairy
Ambassador, Mushroom! We are ready to frolic through the forests to
explore all the magical fun there is to be had!
Join us
at Independence Park to be whisked away for an adventure through the
woods with your very own fairy guide! She will take you to visit her
various woodland friends along the trails and teach you the ways of
fairy culture. You will also have opportunities to create woodland
jewelry pieces/accessories, make music magic, and learn how to tap
into your very own inner magic, with a focus on mental health and wellness!
Activities may include:
- Craft your very own fairy flower crown
- Explore trails and creeks to meet the wee creatures of the forest
- Create a forest necklace using elements of the woods
- Share a special Fairy Circle Ceremony where we will use music magic to celebrate the magic of nature!
- Finish out your forest exploration with some woodland snacks
Girl Cost = $8 (Includes crafts, mental wellness badge, and woodland snacks)
Adult Cost = $5 (Includes woodland snacks)
