Have you ever wondered how rainbows are made, why leaves transform their colors, or how a few simple pigments can blend into a whole spectrum of beautiful hues? Get ready for a bright, bold adventure where the amazing worlds of science and art collide!
Join us as we step into the shoes of a "color chemist" (and expert colorologist!) to discover the magic behind every shade. This hands-on workshop is packed with vibrant experiments and creative masterpieces that will show you just how colorful science can be. It's not magic-it's science in action!
Every Girl Scout will take home a colorful work of art and earn an official Science of Color fun patch!
Notes:
- Since this is an in-person event, there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults, must be registered in advance.
- For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring that enough adults are present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
- This event is open to registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining to discover what Girl Scouting has to offer.
- We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs (non-Girl Scout siblings and non-participating guests) at this event.
