Outdoor Adventure Skills Night & Optional Campout
Join us for an evening of hands-on outdoor adventure as Girl Scouts build confidence, learn practical camping skills, and enjoy time around the campfire!
Throughout the evening, participants will rotate through a variety of outdoor skill stations designed to prepare them for future camping and outdoor adventures. Scouts will learn knife safety and proper handling techniques, discover fire safety principles while helping cook dinner over a fire pit, practice essential knots and create a lanyard project, explore Leave No Trace outdoor ethics, and develop navigation skills using compasses.
As the sun sets, Girl Scouts will put their teamwork to the test by learning tent-building techniques and setting up camp like true outdoor adventurers.
