Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Explore Brown County State Park Your Way!
Celebrate the great outdoors with a day of adventure at Brown County State Park! During Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, Girl Scouts and their families are invited to explore the park at their own pace.
Hike scenic trails, take in the beauty of the woods, and complete a fun self-guided activity to help you connect with nature. Girls who participate and complete the activity will earn the Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch!
Location: Brown County State Park
Date: September 12-13, 2026 (come anytime during park hours)
Bring: Water, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing, and your sense of adventure!
Patches will be mailed after Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend.
This is a flexible, go-at-your-own-pace opportunity to enjoy the park, make memories, and celebrate your love of nature-Girl Scout style!
Cost:
Girl Scouts: $5 - Includes Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch and Self-guided activity.
Adults: $5 - Includes Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch and Self-guided activity.
Family Guest: $5 - Includes Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch and Self-guided activity.
Price does not include gate admissions fee to the park:
- Noncommercial vehicles with Indiana license plates: $7.

Additional Information
- Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoint ratio. Those registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult. GSCI Safety Checkpoints
- Leaders and adults attending are responsible for the supervision of their girls at all times.
