We are excited to partner with Marian University to welcome you on campus for a day of fun while exploring careers in STEM! Attendees will experience the Simulation Lab in our College of Osteopathic Medicine and Leighton School of Nursing to see how different medical procedures happen on human patients; Join a group of female engineers in our brand-new state-of-the-art building, the E.S. Witcher School of Engineering to talk about some of the projects they are completing (and how you can too!). You will also get a glimpse into the life of a college student as we walk around campus and finish the day with lunch in the Dining Commons! Attendees will earn their STEM Career Exploration badge by attending this program and lunch is included in the program fee.

Notes:

  • Since this is an in-person event there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals both girls and adults must be registered in advance.
  • Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints, girls registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event is for registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining a Girl Scout friend to try out the world of Girl Scouting and the opportunities offered through our program. We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs at this event.
