Calling all chocolate lovers! Step into the delicious, hands-on world of a real chocolate connoisseur. We are taking you on a wonderful ride from a fresh cacao pod all the way to a decadent chocolate bar! This isn't your average sitting-and-snacking event-it's an exciting exploration where you will dive straight into the amazing chemistry that makes chocolate so magical. Together, we will crack the code on the biggest chocolate mysteries, bust the ultimate myths surrounding your favorite treat, and taste-test some truly incredible creations along the way. Bring your curiosity, your appetite, and your energy-let's mix science with sweetness and unwrap the magic together!
This workshop is designed for Juniors and Cadettes. Girl registration includes a full chocolate tasting and a commemorative patch. Adult registration includes the tasting only; patches can be purchased separately for an additional fee.
Notes:
- Since this is an in-person event, there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults, must be registered in advance.
- For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring that enough adults are present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
- This event is open to registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining to discover what Girl Scouting has to offer.
- We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs (non-Girl Scout siblings and non-participating guests) at this event.
