Ahoy, Girl Scouts! 🌊

Are you ready to test your engineering skills and set sail in the ultimate cardboard challenge? Join the Cookie Box Regatta, where you'll build a seaworthy vessel using nothing but Girl Scout Cookie boxes, cardboard, and creative ingenuity.

 

We'll provide the cookie boxes and tape-you just bring your shipshape spirit and a crew ready to make waves! Once construction is complete, you'll launch your boat in the pool to see if your design can weather the waters and carry YOU across the finish line.

 

Will you sink, float, or sail like a pro? Chart your course for one of three honors:

  • The Bronze Buoy: For courage under (pool) pressure and creative craftsmanship.
  • The Silver Sail: For sleek design and smooth sailing performance.
  • The Gold Anchor: For exceptional teamwork, engineering, and a successful voyage!

The Details:

  • No experience required-just a sense of adventure and a splash of determination.
  • Join your fleet: To complete your registration, you must sign up for the correct age bracket to compete against your peers.
  • After-Party: Stick around after the race for a victory dip in the pool and a chance to socialize with your fellow sailors!

  • Join Your Fleet: To keep our races fair, please ensure you register for the correct group:

    • Samoa Fleet: Daisies & Brownies

    • Thin Mint Fleet: Juniors & Cadettes

    • Race Committee: Seniors & Ambassadors (Leadership Role)

    • Youth Spectator: Siblings and youth guests

    • Adult Spectator: Parents, guardians, and adult fans

  • Regatta Fees:

    • Girl Scouts Daisies - Cadettes - $10 (includes a fun patch)

    • Girl Scout Seniors & Ambassadors - $0 (includes fun patch)

    • Spectators (Adults & Youth Family Guests) - $5

Notes: 

  • Since this is an in-person event, there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults, must be registered in advance. 
  • For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring they have enough adults present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event is for registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining a Girl Scout friend to try out the world of Girl Scouting and the opportunities offered through our program. We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs at this event.
