History is being made on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and you are invited to help write it!
For the first time ever, a standalone monument is being built to honor women's history and the trailblazing suffragists who fought for your right to vote. Through the Monumental Ideas initiative, you can share your own creative vision-whether that's a drawing, poem, sculpture, or big idea-to inspire the actual architects designing this historic site.
Ready to leave your mark on history and earn your Democracy badge? Share your ideas today and help show the world what women's leadership looks like!
Notes:
- Since this is an in-person event, there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults, must be registered in advance.
- For the safety and supervision of our participants, each troop is responsible for ensuring that enough adults are present to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints. Those attending individually also need to be accompanied by an adult.
- This event is open to registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining to discover what Girl Scouting has to offer.
- We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs (non-Girl Scout siblings and non-participating guests) at this event.
