The Outdoor Adventure and Environmental Stewardship Program offers Girl Scouts of all ages a unique opportunity to connect with nature while learning valuable outdoor skills. Participants will explore trail safety, experience the great outdoors, and embark on exciting adventures. Through hands-on activities, girls will develop a deeper understanding of the importance of environmental stewardship, learning how to protect and care for the environment.

 

In addition to outdoor exploration, girls will engage in a Take Action Project, empowering them to make a meaningful impact on their local community and environment. This program emphasizes the importance of learning by doing, allowing girls to grow in confidence, responsibility, and leadership while making lasting memories in the natural world.

Girls: $17- Forestry Tour, Environmental Stewardship badge, and Take Action Project included.

 

Add On Options:

  • Honey House Tour - For an additional $7.25 a person scouts and family can tour the Honey House. This tour includes a guided tour of the honey house, presentation of honey bees and beehive products, honey tasting, demonstration of honey extracting (seasonal), demonstration of candle dipping, and demonstration of honey bottling.
  • Honey Bear - For an additional $7.95 you can bottle your own bear of honey with your personalized label to take home with you.
  • Beeswax Candle - For an additional $5.55 you can roll your own beeswax candle to take home.

 

Notes:

  • Adults please register under the adult option.
  • Siblings and Tag-A-Longs can be registered as a Family Guest.
  • Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoint ratio. Those registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult.  GSCI Safety Checkpoint
