Ever wanted to bring your own robot to life? Join us and discover the super-cool secrets of robots! We'll explore how they're built, how they "see," and how they make awesome moves. Get ready to design and build your very own LilyBot using a real Arduino brain! We'll use TinkerCad and Arduino to code to make our robots dance, sing, and even dodge obstacles! Imagine: your robot doing exactly what you tell it! And at the end? A robot show-off where you can totally amaze your friends and family with your amazing creation!

Participants will need to bring a sack lunch. This event is designed as an in-person event for Juniors and Cadettes. Girls attending will receive a special fun patch; however, the activities will allow them to complete the following badges for their level:

  • Programming Robots
  • Designing Robots
  • Showcasing Robots

Notes:

  • Since this is an in-person event there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults must be registered in advance.
  • Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints, girls registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event is for registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining a Girl Scout friend to try out the world of Girl Scouting and the opportunities offered through our program. We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs at this event.

Location: Evolution of Coding Space - Camp Dellwood
