Unleash Your Inner Rainbow! Hey Girl Scouts! Get ready for an adventure where the amazing worlds of science and art collide! We're diving into the vibrant Science of Color to discover the magic behind every hue. Become a "color chemist" and experiment with pigments to uncover how primary colors blend into a whole spectrum. It's not magic-it's science in action! Then, get ready for a tie-dye takeover and create your own masterpiece! You'll learn cool folding techniques and pick your favorite vibrant dyes to make a one-of-a-kind tie-dye creation that shows off your unique style.

From the science of how colors form to the art of making them shine, you'll leave with new knowledge, creative confidence, and a super colorful work of art! Don't miss this bright, bold, hands-on Girl Scout adventure where curiosity meets creativity!

Special Notes:

  • Adults who would like to participate and make their own tie-dye creation may purchase a supply kit for $13.00 when registering.

Notes:

  • Since this is an in-person event there is a strict event capacity. We recommend keeping your registration to girl/adult ratios outlined in the Activity Safety Checkpoints to allow for maximum girl participation. All attending individuals, both girls and adults must be registered in advance.
  • Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet Activity Safety Checkpoints, girls registering individually should also be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event is for registered Girl Scouts and girls interested in joining a Girl Scout friend to try out the world of Girl Scouting and the opportunities offered through our program. We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate tagalongs at this event.
