Designed for advanced students in high school grades 10-12 with an interest in machine learning, this course will present and practice introductory concepts. The course will be delivered synchronously with time built-in for practice, questions, and review. Students will learn how to write Python programs and some mathematical concepts that are used universally in machine learning.
Topics to cover include: Evaluating functions, reading and writing images, matrices and vectors, fitting data with a line, minimizing a loss function, extracting features from images, and how classification works.
Pre-requisite: High School Algebra 2
