Express & Design: Explore Emotions!

Join us for a unique Girl Scout outing designed to support the Mental Wellness Patch Program series. In partnership with SETH (Studying Empathy, Technology, and Humans) at Indiana University Indianapolis, this experience gives girls the opportunity to build emotional intelligence, explore self-expression, and practice empathy in a research-based, engaging environment.

This program aligns with two Girl Scout Mental Wellness patches:

* Knowing My Emotions - for younger Girl Scouts (Juniors and below): Helps girls identify, express, and understand their emotions.

* Finding My Voice - for Cadettes: Empowers girls to speak up, express how they feel, and build resilience through communication and design thinking.

Girls will participate in two interactive sessions:

1. Emotional Charades: Act out and identify emotions, learning how to recognize them in themselves and others (90 minutes)

2. Empathy Game Design: Collaboratively design a VR game focused on understanding emotions and improving social connection (2 hours)
