Join the Naturalist at Sycamore Shelter for a magical evening under the night sky! As the stars begin to shine, we'll look up-just as people have for generations-and explore the myths, legends, and stories hidden in the constellations.

Girl Scouts will learn to identify key stars and constellations while discovering how cultures throughout history have made meaning from the stars above. Bring your curiosity and imagination for this stargazing experience full of wonder and tradition. This experience helps Scouts complete the Discover Patch and Explore Pin-part of the Hoosier Quest program!

Let the stars inspire your story!

Cost: Girls $6 Adults & Family $5 each- Includes Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch (girls only), program lead by Part Naturalist.

Price does not include gate admissions fee to the park:

  • Noncommercial vehicles with Indiana license plates: $7.
  • Noncommercial vehicles with out-of-state license plates: $9.

Discover Patch and Explore Pin can be bought separately at Nature Center
