Kindergarten Buddies ~ Show & Tell!
Incoming Kindergarten
and girls going into 1st grade are welcome to come try out Girl
Scouts. I will be hosting a 3-part series over the summer for girls to
come try out Girl Scouts. These show and tell meetings for
Kindergarten Buddies and their friends will be an opportunity for
girls to make new friends and have hands-on experiences in the world
of Girl Scouts. The meetings will be an introduction to what Girl
Scouting is like at a developmentally appropriate level.
We will use kindergarten readiness skills to help keep or get girls
ready for the year to come. Anything from cutting and writing, to
hiking and exploring. The social aspect alone will be well worth it
for this age group! I will teach them how to make new friends and feel
comfortable and confident with themselves.
In the end
girls will walk away with fun shared experiences and a full membership
for the following year. Girls will also be offered a Girl Scout troop
to join and continue with for the upcoming school year leading into
the following summer. I hope you can join us to see if Girl Scouts is
