Cookie Crumbles 5K- Greensburg April 13
Decatur County Girl Scouts is part of Girl Scouts of Central Indiana
Council where we are known as Service Unit 702. We consist of girls
from Kindergarten thru 12th grade and many adult volunteers.
Throughout the year, our Decatur County girls participate in a variety
of programs on a local and council level. It is our desire to fund
more of these opportunities for our girls locally. It is our hope that
the Cookie Crumbles 5K Walk/Run will enable us to open up even more
possibilities such as mini day camps, travel troops, and
scholarships.
The Cookie Crumbles 5K is designed to be
a family, friendly event. The course involves a local Nature Trail
that travels into a park which includes a splash pad, playground, a
picnic area and so much more ... So bring the family! The first 100
participants will receive a box of girl scout cookies at registration.
Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as for all
participants.. Several businesses are showing their support as
sponsors! And we truly appreciate their support in helping us build
Decatur County girls of courage, confidence and character.
Race Descriptioin: Start off on Rebekah Parks newly paved walking path that path that transitions into Big Blue Trail. Come venture down a smooth trail with a slight incline as well as the turn around point that is lined with flowers and a small view of the business district of Greensburg.
