Lemonade Day is a hands-on program designed to give youth from all socio-economic backgrounds an introduction to business concepts and life skills that they can use throughout their lives. Following the Lemonade Day curriculum, youth will learn to Set a Goal, Make a Plan, and Work the Plan in order to achieve their Dreams. Lemonade Day culminates in the real world experience of youth going into business by setting up their lemonade stands during their city’s community-wide Lemonade Day.

2019 Dates by Community
Indianapolis, Lafayette, Kokomo, Daleville - May 18
Bloomington, Columbus - June 15
Wabash Valley -  July 20
Richmond - June 1

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana joins thousands of Girl Scouts from across the country for Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is an opportunity for girls of all ages to discover how to develop a business plan, establish a budget, seek investors, and operate a business. In the process, girls will connect entrepreneurship skills with community involvement and philanthropy. Girls are invited to participate in planning a booth and selling Lemonade to their local community. They may keep the money earned, but we encourage them to take action in their community and donate a portion of their proceeds to a local nonprofit.
