Registration for Kaleidoscope opens August 19
What: Kaleidoscope is a day of adult learning that all volunteers are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet other volunteers, and to have fun! Pick 5 sessions to attend throughout the day OR register for additional sessions on Friday/Sunday and make a weekend of it!
Who: Kaleidoscope is open to
ALL registered adult, not just leaders. No children
Cost: $20 per participant. Fee includes: lunch, take home materials, event patch, t-shirt, and GS SWAG
Types of Sessions You Can Attend on Saturday
Grade level training, STEM, Knife safety, Journey in a day, outdoor cooking, Girl Scout ceremonies, flag etiquette, cyber safety, event planning, high adventure trip planning, leave no trace, new leader workshop, religious awards, higher awards, orienteering, SWAPS, Savannah trip planning, leadership development, and personal development sessions like yoga and meditation.
Optional Outdoor Classes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Friday Night $5- Join us on Friday night at the Program Center on Camp Dellwood’s property for a casual evening of outdoor enrichment opportunities and networking. Your $5 fee includes: A bunk for you to spend the night, light snacks, Friday enrichments and breakfast on Saturday. Enrichments includes Girl Scout campfire songs, traditions, and camping games/activities.
Saturday Night $5 - Join us on Saturday night at the Program Center on Camp Dellwood’s property for additional outdoor enrichment opportunities. Your $5 fee includes: A bunk for you to spend the night, dinner, one session. Session choices include: Night hike, basic outdoor cooking and advanced outdoor skills.
Sunday Morning $5 or $65 - Join us on Sunday morning at the Program Center on Camp Dellwood’s property for additional outdoor enrichment opportunities. Your $5 fee includes: A choice of one session. Session choices include: Advanced Outdoor Cooking ($5) and USA Archery Certification ($65)
CPR/First Aid Blended learning opportunity (additional $40 fee)
This session combines online training with a face-to-face skill test out, in which hands-on practice in front of a certified Instructor is performed. The online portion of this session must be completed prior to September 28th (Link is e-mailed to all participants when registration closes September 28th). CPR test out will occur during sessions 1 or 2 at Kaleidoscope on Saturday.
Attend for $10! Spring Renewal Discount
If you renewed your troop by June 18th you will receive a discount code to attend Kaleidoscope for ONLY $10. This applies to you and any registered adult member in your troop. Check your e-mail a few days before registration opens for the code that you will apply at the end of your registration to pay only $10 (this does not apply to CPR or Friday/Saturday night sessions).
Attend for FREE! New Leader Discount
Any NEW Leader as of July 1, 2019 will receive a discount code to attend Kaleidoscope for ONLY $10. THAT’S NOT ALL. When you check in at registration on September 28th you will get that $10 back in a coupon form to spend at the Girl Scout Store nearest you. You will be able to use that coupon at the Traveling Girl Scout Store that will be at Chapel Hill on September 28th. Check your e-mail for the code that you will apply at the end of your registration to pay only $10 (this does not apply to CPR or Friday overnight).

4th Session: 2:25 - 3:30 p.m.
5th Session: 3:50 - 4:55 p.m.
OPTIONAL Saturday Night Sessions: 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. ($10 additional fee)
