Fair Oaks Farms
Programs offered: We are excited to show off some of the new thinking and practices that we were implementing in Agriculture through fun, interactive Adventures on real working farms. As soon as you and your group arrive, you will be greeted by one of our Adventure Guides. They will assist with check in and make sure everyone in the group knows where to go and what to expect. Girl Scout groups of 10 or more receive a special rate of $7 per person and Fair Oaks fun patches (NEW lower rate thanks to a grant!). Choose from The Dairy, Pig, or Crops Adventure. Each adventure typically lasts about three hours. January, February, and March only. Must schedule 2 weeks in advance.

Purdue Chapter of Women in Nuclear
Programs offered: Purdue’s Women in Nuclear Program offers the opportunity for Girl Scouts to earn the Get to Know Nuclear patch. This patch allows scouts to learn about the fundamentals of nuclear science and about careers in the STEM field. Wild About Horses Equestrian Center
Programs offered: Junior Girl Scouts have the opportunity to earn their Horseback Riding badge! Girl Scouts may also come and visit, choosing from two program formats – field trip format will cover the badge and lesson format Includes a half an hour lesson for each rider. Aviators Lafayette
Program offered: Seasonal Girl Scout Night with the Lafayette Aviators. Girl Scouts take over Purdue’s Alexander Field with a scout parade, color guard, high five tunnel and more.
