Join volunteers from across the council on Saturday, October 2, taking sessions that help you gather ideas and hone skills to share with girls in your troop.  

With over fifty, 1- hour sessions to choose from, volunteers can take classes with themes like  troop activities, outdoor games, travel opportunities as well as basics troop fundamentals. No matter how much (or little) experience you have as a Girl Scout volunteer, we have a session that not only gives you information but is fun. 

Registration is now open. All the information you need to plan your day is in this easy-to-use pre-registration packet including all sessions for Kaleidoscope 2021.

What is Kaleidoscope?

Kaleidoscope is a day of adult learning opportunities that all volunteers are invited to attend hosted in the fall and spring. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, receive important planning information, and to have fun!  

Kaleidoscope is open to ALL registered adults, not just troop leaders.

8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Cost of Attending

All day of sessions, materials, lunch and goodies: $20 Deposit 

Certification Sessions with additional fees:

USA Archery Level 1 Certification (additional $65 fee)  
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m.  
Session is limited to 10 registrants  

CPR/First Aid Blended Learning (additional $44.50 fee)  

This session combines online training completed before October 2 with a face-to-face skill test out with hands-on practice and testing with certified instructor. 

New this year: Wine Down -  4:10-5:30 p.m. After a great day of learning, come relax and mingle with volunteers and staff on the front porch of the Leadership and Learning Center.  $20 – two glasses of wine and appetizers.

Overnight stays will not be offered this year,   

Lunch is provided. You are welcome to bring  your own sack lunch, however there is no access to refrigerators.

  • Registration: 8:00 a.m .

  • Session 1: 8:50 a.m.-9:50 a.m .

  • Session 2:  10:10 a.m.-11:10 p.m .

  • Session 3: 11:30 p.m.-12:30 p.m. 

  • Lunch & Vendors: 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m .

  • Session 4:  1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. 

  • Session 5: 2:50 p.m.-3:50 p.m. 

  • Wine Down: 4:10 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.


Girl Scout Shop

The Girl Scout Shop will be open all day during Kaleidoscope. To avoid long waits in the shop during breaks, you can choose a class session to shop. 

Upon check-in, all attendees will receive a $5 coupon for our shop.
