Student Air Rifle Program at Camp Dellwood
Sunday, September 19
The Student Air Rifle Program facilitates an introduction to the lifetime sport of target shooting to school-aged youth in grades 4 through 12. Air rifles are fun, safe and simple, making them the go-to tool to introduce our Girl Scouts to the sport of target shooting. We utilize the Student Air Rifle (SAR) program to teach this program, which was create using the bases of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Our facilitators have been trained in this course and look forward to hosting you for an afternoon of a fun and safe sport.

Girls will get the opportunity to learn about range safety, how to care for their air rifle, and even some time to practice shooting. Girl Scouts will earn a patch for participating in this program.
