Nature Scavenger Hunt
Let’s Get Outdoors! Your challenge is to complete this nature scavenger hunt in your backyard/apartment complex, walking around your neighborhood, or in a park. Watch this video to see how.
Daisies have an adult or older sibling print the scavenger hunt and fill in the empty boxes for you to find. Color what you find.
Brownies have an adult or older sibling print the scavenger hunt and color, write, or circle what you find.
Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors print the scavenger hunt and color, write-in, or circle what you find. Find the name of plants, trees, or animals that you did not know. Ask a family member or with parent permission, look online or use the free iNaturalist app.
Juniors find the names of at least 3 new plants, trees, or animals
Cadettes find the names of at least 5 new plants, trees, or animals
Seniors find the names of at least 8 new plants, trees, or animals
Ambassadors find the names of at least 10 new plants, trees, or animals
We'd love to see your finished scavenger hunt (labeled with plant/animal names if you are an older girl). Use this link to send us a photo and give us more info about your project.
