Troops Love Camping

Want to share summer camp with your Girl Scout troop? Then pack your bags and hop in the van because this is just for you! Troops Love Camping (TLC) is an experience for the whole troop. We will supply activities, supplies, and food for your troop, while you provide transportation and troops that love camping! Activities will be run by our camp staff so camping experience is not necessary.

Does your troop have what it takes to finish an obstacle course, concentrate on shooting an arrow, dance on stage, creek stompe or stay in the gaga pit? Troops Love Camping is getting fit! Learn what it takes to keep moving and eat healthy. Adult learning sessions will be available. Join us for an exciting camp experience with other troops from all over central Indiana while enjoying traditional camp activities like swimming, arts, and cooking out for a meal. Check-in is 3 p.m. and check out is noon for all sessions.

Leadership

Each troop provides its own leadership through parents, leaders, and other family members. All adults must be registered Girl Scouts. A minimum of two adults must be in camp at all times. At least one must be 21 years of age; others may be 18 or older. Troops must meet adult-to-girl ratio per Safety-Wise.

During your stay, we will provide activities and meals throughout the day and evening. The leaders’ responsibility will consist of supervising the girls at various activities, escorting them to the different places in camp, and providing programming for a small amount of down time. This is a troop experience.
