The Girl Scout Leadership Institute is open to registered Girl Scouts who will be in grades 6-12 in October 2008. Councils and Overseas Committee chairs are welcome to send as many girls as are interested. The Safety-Wise adult-to-girl ratio must be maintained throughout the event.
Registration for the Girl Scout Leadership Institute will be accepted until capacity for the event has been reached.
Housing registration through GSUSA will close on September 12.

Participants, whether girl or adult, should complete a registration form and send it and the registration fee of US$125 to their local council or Overseas Committee chair. The registration fee of US$125 includes all program materials, dinner on October 29, admission to the exclusive Keke Palmer concert on October 29, and breakfast and lunch on October 30. Transportation, lodging, and other meals are not included. Don't forget that if you are a registered Girl Scout with Girl Scouts of Central Indiana you can print off a $25.00 coupon to be used towards your registration fee. The council or Overseas Committee chair is responsible for submitting all registration forms, even those that are not being financially supported by the council or Overseas Committee, in order to verify Girl Scout membership.
Completed forms should be mailed to: Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, c/o Girl Scout Leadership Institute, Suite 300, 1800 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. They may also be faxed to 317.931.3348.
Each council or Overseas Committee chair sending participants to the Girl Scout Leadership Institute will select a council or Overseas Committee contact person. The Council/Overseas Committee Registration Form has a section to complete this information.
In early September, participants will be asked to indicate interest in specific workshops. The deadline for submitting workshop preferences is September 30. On October 1, workshop selections will be processed. Registrations and workshop selections received on or after October 1 will be placed in workshops according to availability.
