Welcome to the Girl Scout Bronze Award, a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your projects, you'll develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference.
Bronze Award Overview
Below is an overview of the requirements to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award. In order to fully understand what is expected, refer to the Girl Scout Bronze Award girl guidelines, adult guide, and the FAQs. Girls must be in 4th or 5th grade (or equivalent) and a registered Girl Scout Junior.
The steps include:
- Go on a Girl Scout Junior journey
- Build your Bronze Award team
- Explore your community
- Choose your Girl Scout Bronze Award project
- Make a plan
- Put your plan in motion
- Submit the Girl Scout Bronze Award Final Report forms to council.
- Spread the word
Special Notes: The Girl Scout Bronze Award is a team or troop award. Juliettes can form their own team by joining other Girl Scout Juniors. All of the requirements for the Girl Scout Bronze Award must be completed before bridging to Girl Scout Cadettes. The Girl Scout Bronze Award is not a prerequisite for the Girl Scout Silver Award (for Girl Scouts grades 6-8) or the Girl Scout Gold Award (for Girl Scouts in grades 9-12).
